Tatting - a nearly forgotten craft

Everyone knows about lace. But only a few know about  tatting (in German: "Occhi" or "Schiffchenspitze";  in French: Frivolité). This is a pity, because this craft has a  special fascination. With a little practice you can make wonderful  peaces for use and decoration. The necessary utensils are so small, that  they find a place in every handbag.
